Easy
Flat, right by the sea, almost all on a bike lane. The one for going with kids, stopping for lunch and coming back without any drama.
You leave the shop in Puerto del Carmen and take the seafront promenade towards Arrecife. It's the easiest of the three routes: flat surface, a bike lane for almost the whole way, and the sea alongside you for most of it.
Arrecife is Lanzarote's capital, and it's worth the stop: the Charco de San Ginés, right in the old town, is a good spot to leave the bike for a while and grab something by the water before heading back.
Tip
Great for riding with kids, or for a calm outing with no hills at all.
Pits of black volcanic ash and green vines, one after another. Scenery like nowhere else. With a winery stop.
The classic one. It's a real climb, but at the top you get the viewpoint with two islands in front of you. The one you tell everyone about.
